Our story is quite interesting. Isaw Daniel's profileafter only two weeks of being on JWed.What I readwas just amazing -and somehow very unique.Aftervery shorthesitation I typed him a typical message saying something along the lines of "Hi, I liked your profile". In literally a few seconds I got a reply saying the following: "Hmmmm.... this is the first time this has happened to me, but I was just typing you a message when I got yours!"Needless to say this was a very excitingbeginning :)
Our first date was most unusual too. After talking to each other for about two weeks we agreed to meet. Daniel lived in NY (now we both do), and I used to live in DC. One day he told me that he would be going to
I was originally going to take a bus, but Daniel arranged for a cab to come pick me at in the morning at 8am and take me to
I was absolutely distraught. Here was something I have been looking forward to for weeks, dreaming and thinking about it and generally feeling like I was somehow magically transported into one of the Audrey Hepburn movies, and I just totally unequivocally blew it! So much for weeks of anticipation and excitement and butterflies - now I was positive I have ruined everything, came across as an unreliable, untrustworthy person who doesn't care enough to show up for her first date.

When in the car, I just had to share what had happened to me that morning, and here I think the most crucial point of the story comes up. My friend"s mother turns to me with utter amazement and says: You are crazy! Pick up the phone and call him right away! Say you will skip the wedding and meet him wherever he wants anytime. I tried calling three times, but Daniel"s phone just kept ringing. So as much I hate leaving voicemails, I did this one time. G-d only knows how pathetic it must have sounded, but two minutes later I got a call back saying “I"ll meet you after the wedding”.
So that was it – we met at a wedding and eight months later we met again – in
